Francis Mercier, acclaimed Haitian DJ and producer reveals his guest DJs as he returns to Ibiza with his debut 8‑week Solèy Ibiza residency.

As a guest DJ at Chinois last season, Francis has naturally chosen ‘the club of Ibiza’ with its similar ethos – welcoming diverse worldwide visitors to create an inclusive dancefloor community imbued with the spirit and energy of the Island, nestled in the heart of the Marina inside the Ibiza Gran Hotel.

Solèy or ‘Sun’ in Haitian Creole — radiates warmth, positivity, and energy, celebrating a vibrant fusion of musical cultures. From midnight till dawn, drift along with the pulsating rhythms of African drums, the soulful sounds of the Levant, and the vibrant joy of the Caribbean. Francis has sold out shows worldwide, no doubt a taste of things to come on the White Isle.

Francis Mercier: the revered DJ/producer has recently sold out B2B nights at KOKO London, played L’Olympia Paris, a headline show at Egypt’s Giza Pyramids, played Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Buenos Aires, Lightning In A Bottle, Brooklyn Mirage, and more… His virtual stats are stratospheric, with over 3 million Shazams, charting in 166+ global city charts and the Spotify Viral Top 50 charts, plus a combined creator reach of 470+ million on Instagram & TikTok with 250+ million song views… his hit ‘Sete’ spent 4 months in the Beatport Top 10. Both hard-working and massively in demand, he’s played 150+ shows in a year, and released on the likes of Sony, Warner, Columbia, and Universal.

To weave a rich tapestry of global sounds, the residency will bring together artists from all corners of the world. Guest DJs include:
Emmanuel Jal, Sudanese ex-child-soldier & now global peace ambassador, film actor, author, DJ/producer, has 7 award-nom. LPs extolling his ‘Afrotech’ sound, + collabs with stars both mainstream and electro. One past collab partner is Nitefreak, multi-award (song of the year, outstanding club DJ, gold single…) winning Zimbabwean DJ/producer (Afro/House). DJ duo & life-partners Giolì & Assia from Italy, a true power-couple and multi-instrumentalists including handpan, share techno/house/indie/pop and run Diesis Records label. Another female empowering DJ is Kitty Amor, London-based deep/Afro house, radio host and Mixmag cover star, releasing on Warner, Defected… and hitting all the biggest festivals; while rising star from Morocco Lilya Mandre also weaves her rich cultural roots into her Deep/Melodic/Minimal/Afro house.

Major League DJZ are US-born, South Africa-raised twins, huge names who collect awards & mix SA jazz with Afro influences like Amapiano. Another kind of duo are Sparrow & Barbossa (Uruguayan, ‘Culture of Candembe’ Afro tribal rhythm), together fusing organic instruments & electro, their Tortuga Tribes label a home for Caribbean House. Italian star MoBlack, who spent a decade living in Ghana, runs top selling Afro House label MoBlack Records, plays saxophone and piano & has big name support.
